Normally used for verification of fire-fighting monitor nozzles and extraction of water from wellpoints
DeltaMeter is a portable instrument and is easy to use. The power supply is provided from batteries and it is used to measure the rate of flow and pressure in water pipes.
It is made from a restriction device (Venturi tube) UNI 25-45-70 and a micro-processor unit and display provided with a serial communications port for data download to a PC (supplied with dedicated software).
It is the ideal instrument for verification of fire-fighting monitor nozzles since it provides an immediate indication on the display. In this way it avoids all those splashes of water or difficulty in measurement which are experienced with other types of instruments (pressure readings of Pitot tubes and manometric nozzles is provided on an analogue pressure gauge and the subsequent flow rate has to be taken from a table).
Thanks to its small size, the ease by which it is connected to the pipes, wide range of measurement for flow rate (from 28 to 759 l/min) and the optimum price/performance factor, the DeltaMeter responds fully to the requirements of Testing Engineers for fire-fighting monitor nozzles and Geologists for flow capacity in wellpoints.
